This weekly 4-hour intensive class is crucial to learning and honing your Improvisation, Audition and Acting Business skills, keeping them sharp and landing bookings. Landing just one co-star booking can make your almost $1,000!

The first 2 hours will focus on Acting in the moment. Taught by Obaid Kadwani, each class begins with activating your voice and breathing. We start by making you mindful of your body so that you can maximize your instrument. In each class, as we act, you will learn to be alive, active and real in each moment during your scenes even when quick changes make you feel out of your comfort zone. You will learn to adapt quickly to changes that might be thrown at you during your scenes by Casting Directors. You will learn to adapt quickly when the relationships in a scene are suddenly changed. You will learn to adapt quickly when the circumstances in a scene are suddenly changed. You will be working with improvised scenarios as well as scripted scenes. Above all, you will learn to still be real and believable and true to your essence as you improvise upon your work.

The second 2 hours will be taught by Albert Bramante. In the On-Camera Audition Skills Training section, you will be working each week in a simulated audition setting:

  • You will learn what a Talent Agent and Casting Director wants your scene to look like during an audition.
  • Students can use film, tv, or theater scenes.
  • All scenes will be put on-camera, so that you can review your work after class.
  • You will work with a reader for each scene.
  • You will be asked to incorporate any last-minute changes to character and circumstances.

In the Business of Acting section, each week you will learn and hone a different business skill to help you maximize your type, maximize your marketing, build and maintain your relationship with talent agents and casting directors, and succeed in consistently in building your career momentum.
